A quiz, for you novices out there, is a game -- a battle of intellect -- a mind sport in which the players as individuals or as a team try to answer questions correctly. Quizzes are point based with the winner being the one with the most. They can be held in a variety of locations from the classroom, to the pub which is largely a English phenomenon, to the quiz show like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" where contestants risk their winnings in the attempt to get the next question correct.
